Adjectives ពិពណ៌នាអំពី nouns។ ពួកវាផ្តល់ព័ត៌មានបន្ថែមអំពីមនុស្ស ទីកន្លែង វត្ថុ ឬគំនិតមួយ។

Common adjectives ពិពណ៌នាអំពីលក្ខណៈដូចជា ទំហំ ពណ៌ អាយុ រូបរាង ឬមតិ។

Demonstrative adjectives ចង្អុលបង្ហាញទៅកាន់ nouns ជាក់លាក់។ ពួកវាមាន៖

• those

Demonstrative adjective តែងតែដាក់មុន noun។

Examples:

• that building
• these shoes
• those people

ពេលណាត្រូវប្រើ

ប្រើ common adjectives ដើម្បីពិពណ៌នាថា noun មួយមានលក្ខណៈដូចម្តេច។

Examples:

• a beautiful garden
• a difficult question
• a cold morning

ប្រើ demonstrative adjectives ដើម្បីបង្ហាញថា អ្នកមានន័យដល់មនុស្ស ឬវត្ថុណាមួយ។

ប្រើ this សម្រាប់មនុស្ស ឬវត្ថុមួយដែលនៅជិត។

Common adjectives មិនផ្លាស់ប្តូរសម្រាប់ nouns ឯកវចនៈ ឬពហុវចនៈទេ។

Common adjectives បន្ទាប់ពី linking verbs

Adjectives ក៏អាចមកបន្ទាប់ពី verbs ដូចជា be, look, feel, seem, និង become។
