1) Terms of Service
1.1 Overview
VocabStorage (the “Service”) is an online platform that provides users with access to tools and resources for practicing and retaining foreign language vocabulary.
The Service is available to users of all ages. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
1.2 Account & Access
To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used in an unlawful or abusive manner.
1.3 Subscriptions & Billing
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, yearly, or other available billing periods) until canceled.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store or process your full payment card details.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period.
If a payment cannot be successfully processed, your subscription may become past due and access to certain features of the Service may be limited until payment is resolved.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices or billing terms. Any changes will take effect after reasonable notice and will not affect the current billing period.
Taxes. Subscription fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. Where required by law, applicable taxes (such as GST/HST or other sales taxes) may be added to your charges and collected at the time of payment.
1.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the subscribed features until that date.
After the end of the billing period, your subscription will not renew and access to paid features may be limited or discontinued.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of the billing period, except as described in the Refund Policy.
1.5 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate applicable laws or regulations.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to attempting to interfere with its operation, accessing the Service using automated means, or engaging in abusive or harmful behavior.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if these rules are violated.
1.6 Intellectual Property
The Service and all related content, features, and functionality, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by VocabStorage or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you submit or create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to use such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service or its content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
1.7 Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, accuracy, or suitability of the Service.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific expectations or learning outcomes.
1.8 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VocabStorage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
In no event shall VocabStorage’s total liability for any claims related to the Service exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
1.9 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
1.10 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2) Privacy Policy
2.1 Data We Collect

Account Data. Information you provide when creating an account, such as your email address.
Usage Data. Basic usage information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used and general activity, collected to improve the Service.
Payment Information. Payment details are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full payment card information.

3) Refund Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Access to the Service is provided immediately upon payment, and unused portions of a billing period are not refunded, except as expressly stated in this Refund Policy or where required by law.
3.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be considered in the following limited circumstances:
• Duplicate charges made in error
• Cases where a refund is required by applicable law
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and approval is not guaranteed.
