முன்னிடைச்சொற்கள் (Prepositions) என்பவை ஒரு பெயர்ச்சொல் அல்லது பிரதிப்பெயர்ச்சொல்லை ஒரு வாக்கியத்தின் மற்றொரு பகுதியுடன் இணைக்கும் குறுகிய சொற்களாகும்.

நிலை அல்லது திசை: behind, between, across
