Що це таке?

Прикметники у найвищому ступені використовуються для порівняння однієї особи, речі, місця або ситуації з усіма іншими в групі.

Вони показують найвищий або найнижчий ступінь якості.

В англійській мові прикметники у найвищому ступені зазвичай вживаються з означеним артиклем the.

Структура

Для багатьох коротких прикметників додайте -est.

Підмет + be + the + прикметник-est + іменник/комплемент

• tall → the tallest

Приклад:

Leo is the tallest student in the class.

Зазвичай не вживайте одночасно most і -est з одним і тим самим прикметником.
