အဲဒါက ဘာလဲ?

Adjectives သည် nouns ကို ဖော်ပြသည်။ ၎င်းတို့သည် လူ၊ နေရာ၊ အရာဝတ္ထု သို့မဟုတ် အယူအဆတစ်ခုအကြောင်း ပိုမိုသော အချက်အလက်များ ပေးသည်။

Common adjectives သည် အရွယ်အစား၊ အရောင်၊ အသက်၊ ပုံသဏ္ဌာန် သို့မဟုတ် အမြင်ကဲ့သို့သော အရည်အသွေးများကို ဖော်ပြသည်။

Examples:

• a small house
• a red bag
• an old car
• a friendly teacher

Demonstrative adjectives သည် သီးသန့် nouns များကို ညွှန်ပြသည်။ ၎င်းတို့မှာ-

• that
• these
• those

Demonstrative adjective တစ်ခုသည် အမြဲ noun တစ်ခု၏ ရှေ့တွင် လာသည်။

Examples:

ဘယ်အချိန်မှာ သုံးရမလဲ

Common adjectives ကို noun တစ်ခုက ဘယ်လိုမျိုးလဲဆိုတာ ဖော်ပြရန် သုံးသည်။

Demonstrative adjectives ကို သင် ဘယ်သူ သို့မဟုတ် ဘာကို ဆိုလိုသည်ကို ပြရန် သုံးသည်။

တစ်ယောက်တည်းသော လူ သို့မဟုတ် အရာဝတ္ထုတစ်ခု နီးကပ်နေသည့်အခါ this ကို သုံးသည်။

Common adjectives သည် singular သို့မဟုတ် plural nouns အတွက် မပြောင်းလဲပါ။

Linking verbs နောက်တွင် လာသော Common adjectives

Adjectives သည် be, look, feel, seem, နှင့် become ကဲ့သို့သော verbs များနောက်တွင်လည်း လာနိုင်သည်။

ဖွဲ့စည်းပုံမှာ-

Demonstrative adjectives

ဖွဲ့စည်းပုံမှာ-

this နှင့် that ကို singular nouns များနှင့် သုံးသည်။

အချို့ adjectives များသည် ၎င်းတို့ ဖော်ပြသော noun သို့မဟုတ် pronoun ၏ နောက်တွင် ပုံမှန်အားဖြင့် လာသည်။

အချို့ adjectives များကို linking verb နောက်တွင် မကြာခဏ သုံးပြီး ပုံမှန်အားဖြင့် noun တစ်ခု၏ တိုက်ရိုက်ရှေ့တွင် မထားပါ။
