၎င်းသည် ဘာလဲ?

Possessive adjectives များသည် မည်သူတစ်စုံတစ်ဦးပိုင်ဆိုင်ကြောင်း သို့မဟုတ် မည်သူတစ်စုံတစ်ဦးနှင့် ဆက်စပ်မှုရှိကြောင်း ပြသသည်။

၎င်းတို့သည် noun တစ်ခု၏ ရှေ့တွင် လာသည်။

အင်္ဂလိပ် possessive adjectives များမှာ-

ဥပမာများ-

• This is my coat.
• Her brother lives in London.
• Their car is outside.

မည်သည့်အခါတွင် သုံးရမည်နည်း

Possessive adjectives များကို အောက်ပါတို့အကြောင်း ပြောဆိုရန် သုံးသည်-

• ပိုင်ဆိုင်မှု- This is my laptop.
• မိသားစုဆက်သွယ်မှု- Her mother is a teacher.
• ခန္ဓာကိုယ်အစိတ်အပိုင်းများ- He hurt his arm.
• ကိုယ်ပိုင်ပစ္စည်းများ- Where are your keys?
• လူတစ်ဦးနှင့် ဆက်စပ်သောနေရာများ- Our office is nearby.
• တိရစ္ဆာန်များ သို့မဟုတ် အရာဝတ္ထုများ- The dog is eating its food.

Possessive adjective ကို ၎င်းဖော်ပြသော noun ၏ ရှေ့တွင် သုံးပါ။

• my friend
• your address
• his job
• her name
• our room
• their house

ဖွဲ့စည်းပုံ

အခြေခံဖွဲ့စည်းပုံမှာ-

possessive adjective + noun

Possessive adjectives များသည် singular သို့မဟုတ် plural noun များအတွက် ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းမရှိပါ။

• my book
• my books
• their child
• their children

Possessive adjective ကို ပိုင်ဆိုင်သည့်အရာအလိုက် ရွေးချယ်ပါ၊ ပိုင်ဆိုင်ခံရသည့်အရာအလိုက် မဟုတ်ပါ။

• Anna has a car. Her car is red.
• Mark has a car. His car is red.
• Anna and Mark have a car. Their car is red.

Possessive adjective ရှေ့တွင် article ကို မသုံးပါနှင့်။

• မှန်သည်- my friend
• မှားသည်- the my friend

ဥပမာများ

1. My name is Daniel.
2. Where is your passport?
3. His sister works at a hospital.
4. Her children are at school.
5. The cat is washing its face.
6. Our apartment is very small.
7. Their parents live in Canada.
8. I cannot find my keys.
9. She is talking to her manager.

ခြွင်းချက်များ

Its သည် possessive adjective ဖြစ်သည်။

• The company changed its name.

It’s သည် it is သို့မဟုတ် it has ၏ အတိုကောက်ပုံစံဖြစ်သည်။

• It’s cold today.
• It’s been a long day.

Possessive adjective its တွင် apostrophe ကို မသုံးပါနှင့်။

Possessive adjectives များသည် possessive pronouns များနှင့် ကွဲပြားသည်။

• This is my book.
• This book is mine.

Possessive adjective တစ်ခုနောက်တွင် noun တစ်ခု လိုက်ရမည်။ Possessive pronoun သည် noun ကို အစားထိုးသည်။

အဖြစ်များသော အမှားများ

1. မှားသည်- She is my sister. His name is Anna. မှန်သည်- She is my sister. Her name is Anna. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- အမျိုးသမီးပိုင်ရှင်အတွက် her ကို သုံးပါ။

2. မှားသည်- He has a car. Her car is new. မှန်သည်- He has a car. His car is new. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- အမျိုးသားပိုင်ရှင်အတွက် his ကို သုံးပါ။

3. မှားသည်- This is mine book. မှန်သည်- This is my book. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- noun ရှေ့တွင် possessive adjective my ကို သုံးပါ။

4. မှားသည်- The dog is eating it’s food. မှန်သည်- The dog is eating its food. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- Its သည် ပိုင်ဆိုင်မှုကို ပြသည်။ It’s သည် it is သို့မဟုတ် it has ကို ဆိုလိုသည်။

5. မှားသည်- This is the my phone. မှန်သည်- This is my phone. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- Possessive adjective ရှေ့တွင် article ကို မသုံးပါနှင့်။

6. မှားသည်- We live here. Their house is small. မှန်သည်- We live here. Our house is small. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- ပိုင်ရှင်များသည် we ဖြစ်သောအခါ our ကို သုံးပါ။

7. မှားသည်- They are washing their car, and she is cleaning their window. မှန်သည်- They are washing their car, and she is cleaning her window. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- Possessive adjective ကို ပိုင်ရှင်အလိုက် ရွေးချယ်ပါ။

8. မှားသည်- My books is on the table. မှန်သည်- My books are on the table. ရှင်းလင်းချက်- Possessive adjective သည် ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းမရှိသော်လည်း verb သည် plural noun နှင့် ကိုက်ညီရမည်။
