Kas tai yra?

Būdvardžiai apibūdina daiktavardžius. Jie suteikia daugiau informacijos apie asmenį, vietą, daiktą ar idėją.

Įprasti būdvardžiai apibūdina tokias savybes kaip dydis, spalva, amžius, forma ar nuomonė.

Pavyzdžiai:

  • a red bag
  • an old car
  • a friendly teacher

Parodomieji būdvardžiai nurodo į konkrečius daiktavardžius. Jie yra:

  • those

Parodomasis būdvardis visada eina prieš daiktavardį.

Įprastus būdvardžius vartokite norėdami apibūdinti, koks yra daiktavardis.

Būdvardžiai taip pat gali eiti po tokių veiksmažodžių kaip be, look, feel, seem ir become.
