স্থানের পূর্বসর্গ (Prepositions of Place)

এটা কী?

স্থানের অব্যয় (Prepositions of place) দেখায় যে একজন ব্যক্তি, প্রাণী বা জিনিস কোথায় অবস্থিত।

সাধারণ স্থানের অব্যয়গুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে:

in front of

উদাহরণ:

The keys are on the table.
The milk is in the fridge.
She is waiting at the bus stop.
The cat is under the chair.

কখন ব্যবহার করবেন

যখন কিছু একটি আবদ্ধ স্থান বা বড় এলাকার ভিতরে থাকে তখন in ব্যবহার করুন।

যখন কিছু একটি পৃষ্ঠ স্পর্শ করে তখন on ব্যবহার করুন।

on the floor
on the wall
on the table

একটি নির্দিষ্ট বিন্দু বা অবস্থানের জন্য at ব্যবহার করুন।

অন্য অব্যয়গুলি ব্যবহার করুন এক জিনিসের অবস্থান অন্য জিনিসের সাথে সম্পর্কিত বর্ণনা করতে।

গঠন

স্থানের একটি অব্যয় সাধারণত একটি বিশেষ্য, সর্বনাম বা বিশেষ্য পদগুচ্ছের আগে আসে।

subject + verb + preposition of place + noun

The phone is on the desk.
They are in the garden.
She is standing next to me.

above	কিছুর উপরে	The clock is above the door.
below	কিছুর নীচে	The apartment is below ours.
behind	কিছুর পিছনে	The car is behind the house.
in front of	কিছুর সামনে	She is in front of the mirror.
next to	কিছুর ঠিক পাশে	The pharmacy is next to the bank.
between	দুটি জিনিসের মাঝে	The café is between the shops.
near	কিছুর কাছে	We live near the park.
opposite	কিছুর বিপরীতে	The hotel is opposite the station.

Preposition	সাধারণ ব্যবহার	উদাহরণ
in	ঘর, ভবন, শহর, দেশ	She lives in London.
on	পৃষ্ঠ, মেঝে, রাস্তা	The office is on the second floor.
at	সঠিক স্থান এবং বিন্দু	Meet me at the entrance.

She is at the school. — সে স্কুল প্রাঙ্গণে আছে।
She is in the school. — সে স্কুল ভবনের ভিতরে আছে।

সাধারণ ভুল

ভুল: The keys are in the table. সঠিক: The keys are on the table. ব্যাখ্যা: যখন কিছু একটি পৃষ্ঠ স্পর্শ করে তখন on ব্যবহার করুন।
ভুল: I am in home. সঠিক: I am at home. ব্যাখ্যা: নির্দিষ্ট অভিব্যক্তি at home ব্যবহার করুন।
ভুল: She is on the kitchen. সঠিক: She is in the kitchen. ব্যাখ্যা: একটি আবদ্ধ ঘরের জন্য in ব্যবহার করুন।
ভুল: The bank is between the supermarket. সঠিক: The bank is next to the supermarket. ব্যাখ্যা: যখন কিছু দুটি জিনিসের মাঝে থাকে তখন between ব্যবহার করুন।
ভুল: He is waiting in the bus stop. সঠিক: He is waiting at the bus stop. ব্যাখ্যা: একটি নির্দিষ্ট অবস্থান বা বিন্দুর জন্য at ব্যবহার করুন।
ভুল: The picture is over the wall. সঠিক: The picture is on the wall. ব্যাখ্যা: যখন কিছু একটি পৃষ্ঠের সাথে সংযুক্ত থাকে তখন on ব্যবহার করুন।
ভুল: She is sitting next the window. সঠিক: She is sitting next to the window. ব্যাখ্যা: সম্পূর্ণ অব্যয়টি হল next to।
ভুল: The café is between the bank. সঠিক: The café is between the bank and the hotel. ব্যাখ্যা: Between সাধারণত দুটি রেফারেন্স পয়েন্ট প্রয়োজন।
