O que é?
Os adjetivos comparativos são usados para comparar duas pessoas, coisas, lugares ou situações.
Eles mostram que uma pessoa ou coisa tem mais ou menos de uma qualidade do que outra.
As formas comparativas comuns incluem:

Estrutura
Para muitos adjetivos curtos, adicione -er.
Sujeito + be + adjetivo-er + than + substantivo/pronome
- tall → taller

Exemplo:

Se um adjetivo termina em -e, adicione apenas -r.
- nice → nicer

Se um adjetivo curto termina em uma vogal + uma consoante, a consoante final é frequentemente dobrada.

Exceções
Alguns adjetivos têm formas comparativas irregulares e não usam o padrão normal -er ou more.
