基本强调词

这是什么？

加强词是改变形容词或副词强度的词。

它们可以使描述变得更强或更弱。

常见的基础加强词包括：

  • very
  • really
  • so
  • too
  • quite
  • a little
  • a bit

示例：

  • 这个房间非常冷。
  • 她说话真的很慢。
  • 这个包太重了。
  • 我有点累。

何时使用

在形容词或副词之前使用加强词。

使用 very、really 和 so 使描述更强。

  • very hot（非常热）
  • really interesting（真的有趣）
  • so quickly（如此快）

当某事物超过必要程度或引起问题时，使用 too。

  • too expensive（太贵）
  • too slowly（太慢）

使用 quite 表示中等或相当强的程度。

  • quite busy（相当忙）
  • quite carefully（相当仔细）

使用 a little 或 a bit 使描述更弱。

  • a little nervous（有点紧张）
  • a bit slowly（有点慢）

结构

基本结构是：

主语 + 动词 + 加强词 + 形容词

加强词 示例
very The test is very easy.（这个测试非常容易。）
really The film is really good.（这部电影真的很好。）
so The water is so cold.（水这么冷。）
too The box is too heavy.（这个盒子太重了。）
quite The hotel is quite expensive.（这家酒店相当贵。）

与副词一起使用时，使用：

主语 + 动词 + 加强词 + 副词

  • She speaks very quietly.（她说话非常轻声。）
  • He drives too quickly.（他开车太快。）
  • They work quite slowly.（他们工作相当慢。）

使用 too + 形容词/副词 + to + 动词 来解释结果。

  • The coffee is too hot to drink.（咖啡太烫了，不能喝。）
  • He speaks too quickly to understand.（他说得太快，听不懂。）

使用 so + 形容词/副词 + that 来解释结果。

  • The music was so loud that we left.（音乐太吵了，我们离开了。）
  • She spoke so quietly that I could not hear her.（她说话太轻了，我听不见。）

示例

  1. This soup is very hot.（这汤非常烫。）
  2. She is really friendly.（她真的很友好。）
  3. The weather is so nice today.（今天天气真好。）
  4. This suitcase is too heavy.（这个手提箱太重了。）
  5. The restaurant is quite busy.（这家餐厅相当忙。）

例外

very 通常不与已经具有极端含义的形容词一起使用。

不要说 very excellent，而要说 excellent 或 really excellent。

不要说 very impossible，而要说 impossible 或 completely impossible。

在非正式英语中，really 经常与普通形容词和极端形容词一起使用。

  • really tired（真的很累）
  • really amazing（真的令人惊叹）

常见错误

  1. 错误： The room is very much cold. 正确： The room is very cold. 解释： 在形容词之前直接使用 very。

  2. 错误： This bag is very heavy for me carry. 正确： This bag is too heavy for me to carry. 解释： 当某事物引起问题时，使用 too + 形容词 + to + 动词。

  3. 错误： She speaks very slow. 正确： She speaks very slowly. 解释： 使用副词来描述某人说话的方式。

  4. 错误： I am bit tired. 正确： I am a bit tired. 解释： 使用 a bit，而不仅仅是 bit。

  5. 错误： The coffee is too very hot. 正确： The coffee is too hot. 解释： 通常不将 too 和 very 一起使用。
