अङ्ग्रेजी प्रश्नहरूमा प्रायः कर्ताभन्दा अगाडि सहायक क्रिया प्रयोग हुन्छ।

जब उत्तर हो वा होइन हुन सक्छ, त्यस्ता प्रश्नहरूका लागि हो-होइन प्रश्नहरू प्रयोग गर्नुहोस्।

जब प्रश्न शब्द कर्ता हुन्छ, सामान्य कर्ता-प्रश्न शब्द क्रम प्रयोग हुन्छ।

केही प्रश्नहरू अनौपचारिक कुराकानीमा कथनजस्तै रूप लिन सक्छन् जब वक्ता आश्चर्यचकित हुन्छ वा जानकारी जाँच्दै हुन्छ।
