  • tall → the tallest
  • fast → the fastest
  • beautiful → the most beautiful
  • expensive → the most expensive

Forme comune:

Adjectiv Superlativ
tall the tallest
small the smallest
fast the fastest
happy the happiest
interesting the most interesting
expensive the most expensive
good the best
bad the worst

  • Emma is the tallest student in the class.
  • This is the cheapest phone in the store.

  • It is the hottest day of the week.
  • He is the fastest runner on the team.

Folosește the most + adjective cu multe adjective mai lungi.

  • This is the most interesting book here.
  • That is the most expensive restaurant in town.

  • This is the least difficult exercise.
  • It is the least expensive option.

Structură

Pentru multe adjective scurte, adaugă -est.

Subiect + be + the + adjectiv-est + substantiv/complement

  • tall → the tallest
  • small → the smallest
  • fast → the fastest

Exemplu:

Leo is the tallest student in the class.

  • nice → the nicest
  • large → the largest

  • big → the biggest
  • hot → the hottest

  • happy → the happiest
  • easy → the easiest

Pentru multe adjective mai lungi, folosește the most.

Subiect + be + the most + adjectiv + substantiv/complement

  • the most beautiful
  • the most comfortable
  • the most important

Exemplu:

This is the most comfortable chair in the room.

Pentru a arăta gradul cel mai scăzut, folosește the least.

Subiect + be + the least + adjectiv + substantiv/complement

Exemplu:

This is the least expensive hotel nearby.

Unele adjective comune au forme superlative neregulate.

Excepții

Unele adjective au forme superlative neregulate.

  • good → the best
  • bad → the worst
  • far → the farthest / the furthest

the tallest

nu:

the most tallest

  • She is the fastest runner.
  • This is the best option.

  • my best friend
  • her biggest problem
  • our most important task

  • the cleverest / the most clever
  • the quietest / the most quiet
